Pelle Guldborg Hansen

Pelle Guldborg Hansen, MA in Philosophy and Social Science, is pursuing a PhD in the Science Studies group at Roskilde University. His project, supervised by Prof. Vincent F. Hendricks (Roskilde University), is about the use of game theory in understanding and explaining the nature and dynamics of social conventions and norms. Currently he is working on providing a theory of how cognitive framing make learning possible in coordination problems as well as effects systematic social inequalities to arise. Other interests are the history of the game theoretic approach to convention, evolutionary game theory, the relationship between norms and conventions, and the concept of negligent rape. He is also co-editor of Phinews, the newsletter in Philosophical Logic and its applications.
