Job Announcement: Assistant or Associate Professor Fall 2010

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, College Park, MD. For Fall 2010:
Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track); preference for junior candidates, but outstanding applicants at the Associate level will also be considered.
AOS: formal epistemology or related areas of philosophical logic, decision theory, or game theory.
AOC: the ability to teach logic or traditional epistemology at the graduate level would be an advantage.
Applications from women and minorities are actively encouraged.
The University of Maryland is an EO/AAE. Applicants for the tenure track position should send a letter of application and the usual dossier, containing curriculum vitae, letters of reference, writing sample, and evidence of teaching ability.
Applicants at the senior level should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, names and addresses of at least three referees, and one or two off-prints or writing samples.
